Challenges
The primary challenge was modernizing the festival’s visual identity without losing the cultural authenticity and history that make it iconic.
The existing branding felt visually dated, creating an opportunity to reimagine the experience in a way that could better connect with younger audiences. I chose bold purples and oranges, and wanted the logo to feel like it was groovin'.




Solutions
This new branding system was applied across wristbands, tickets, merchandise, wayfinding, and digital materials to create a unified festival experience both physically and digitally.
This project gave me the chance to have fun with color, movement, and expressive branding while reimagining the experience of an iconic cultural festival.
